Barcelona is Marathon (and the most beautiful chaos in the world)

If you think 42.195 km is intense, then you haven't experienced the week leading up to it at Pacific's offices.

We've been preparing the 'Ready for Marathon' drop for months, but nothing prepares you for the energy the city exudes in the days before the race. Barcelona transforms. Cafes fill with people in carbon-plated shoes, the atmosphere on the Strava wall is buzzing, and for us, the pace is as high as those aiming for a sub-3-hour finish.

The calm (which isn't calm) before the storm

For brands like us, the marathon doesn't start on Sunday at 8:30 AM. It begins weeks before, with samples, designs, and events. This year, we wanted the drop to be special, something you could wear during the race but also for post-run coffee in hand.

The Pop-up: Your energy is our fuel

We had the chance to meet you in person at our Pop-up store. Presenting the 'Ready for Marathon' drop live was one of the best parts of the weekend. Chatting with first-timers, with veterans who came for their lucky pair, and receiving your congratulations in person reminded us why we do this after 13 years.

Sold Out: Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts

We predicted it, but experiencing it is another story. On Sunday, as the last runners crossed the finish line, we put up the SOLD OUT sign.
